The prime sports venue in the Northern Territory is the Marrara Sporting Complex adjacent to the Darwin International Airport.

Staged over three fabulous days in Darwin 's dry season, the V8 Supercars are not just fast and loud but are eagerly awaited and appreciated by Territorians, interstate visitors and international tourists, of all ages. Between races, additional entertainment such as parachutists, drag cars and motorbike stunt riders keeps the track full of action. Crocodylus Park is only five minutes from the resort. Dr Graham Webb and the staff of Wildlife Management International Pty Ltd (WMI) have spent the last 30 years researching crocodiles. The biggest party of the year, the 2005 Carlton Draught Darwin Cup Carnival, kicks off on Saturday 2nd July and doesn't stop until late night on Monday 1st August.
